Tribute to teachers...

  1. It is quite difficult to be a good teacher, extremely hard to be a very good teacher and nearly impossible to be an excellent teacher – nobody is perfect. The conditions to be met are numerous and rarely found – all together – in the same person: widespread background knowledge, up-to-date expertise and specialization, pedagogical resources, organizational skills, leadership, love for the students, capacity for teamwork, honesty, a sense of humour, and countless other abilities. Perhaps we could single out hard work as the most important. To do a good job, like in other walks of life, teachers have to work hard.
